In my other posts on the blog, I\u2019ve shared about what I \u201cactually do\u201d (which some people still don\u2019t get) as a Pinterest manager. Today I want to share a breakdown of what \u201ca day in the life\u201d looks like for me as a business owner, wife, and momma of two littles.<\/p>\n

I hope it\u2019s helpful not just for those wanting to learn more about what a Pinterest manager does, but for anyone considering becoming one themselves!<\/p>\n

Rise and Shine<\/h2>\n

My day starts anywhere between 4AM and 5:30AM. It usually depends on what time I go to bed, and to be honest, it\u2019s usually too late. That\u2019s one of my biggest dilemmas – I actually like staying up in the evening, but I also need to get up early to work.<\/p>\n

I have found that my most productive and focused hours are in the morning.<\/p>\n

I usually don\u2019t get all of my client work done during this time but that\u2019s okay. When I\u2019ve already been up working in the morning for 2-3 hours, I\u2019m ready for a break by the time my girls are waking up.<\/p>\n

I have a 3.5-year-old daughter and an almost 16-month-old daughter! Right now we are in the \u201cbusy\u201d stage where they need my undivided attention or who knows where they will end up (how about under my bathroom sink)!<\/p>\n

I decided when I started my business that I would not go the daycare route. There\u2019s nothing wrong with it, but I started working from home so I could be with my girls. I never want to be so busy that I can\u2019t spend my days with them.<\/p>\n

I know these sweet, sweet years will go by so very fast, and I don\u2019t want to look back and wish I\u2019d been more present.<\/p>\n

The Breakdown<\/h2>\n

So back to my morning routine! In the wee hours of the morning, my kiddos are *usually* still snoozing, so here\u2019s the morning routine that I\u2019ve created:<\/p>\n

–> 5 AM\u00a0Wake up and COFFEE<\/b><\/p>\n

Yes, I\u2019m addicted, and I have no intentions of breaking up with caffeine anytime soon! If you can get by without it, good for you! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

–> 5 AM-7 AM Work<\/b><\/p>\n

I usually answer a few emails, and then start working on my client accounts. I try to work on at least 2-3 client accounts per weekday.<\/p>\n
