‼️Here’s what my first year as a Pinterest Manager looked like...⬇️

And disclaimer, I’m not typically one for posting how much I make, I think those posts get a bit old/annoying. 😬

😜But this clearly isn’t that kind of a post, because those first few months were obviously very small numbers!

The point is I STARTED! And that’s one of the hardest parts, just taking that first step.

July 2019- $200
August 2019- $650

So why am I posting exact numbers inside my business for my first year?

Well, it’s to show you that there’s so many paths to success, and I wanted to share how I define “success”.

Many people might not consider my business “successful” based on the numbers I was making, but for me...

❤️Success was not going back to the classroom, but still bringing in income for our little family.

❤️Success was spending the days how I wanted to, which occasionally included napping because I was pregnant.

❤️Success was offering a service I really enjoyed, and being good at that service... which meant happy clients.

❤️Success was moving forward even if it was at a tortoise pace.

You know what this also helped me do? Scale slowly, and not burn myself out.

And guess what, we’re in 2025, and I’m still going strong with this Pinterest management business, and instead of managing accounts, I’m now educating and coaching... and it fills my cup every day.

And if you’re in it for the long haul, and you want consistent success, I’d love to help you get to $5K months and beyond inside my Pinterest Manager Academy.

Just my honest thoughts on the “faceless” pinterest marketing that I keep seeing.

Pinterest Management was a good fit for me because:

1. the work is super flexible (and I have little kids at home!)

2. I love helping business owners via my services

3. I sincerely like the work!

HERE’S what I did ⬇️

Here’s what I DID do:
✅Found a business model that felt aligned for me, which was freelancing (helping other business owners!)
✅Invested in skills training so I could reach my goals in the shortest amount of time possible
✅Niched down to a service I loved, Pinterest Management
✅Became an expert at this one thing, which meant I was able to increase my prices over time (I started at $200 for my packages and scaled up to $2,000)
✅Invested in business coaching and learned from someone who had already done what I wanted to do (scale to 10K months!)
✅Became a master of my time (I don’t have much extra time because I have 4 kids, and no childcare, and the oldest homeschools)
✅Took risks and was willing to fail, over and over again
✅Hire a VA and then subcontractor once I started to become overbooked
✅Pitched my premium services when I was struggling to find clients

What I DIDN’T do:
❌Make excuses for why I couldn’t do the work that was required in order to get results (this meant listening to courses while doing dishes, attending coaching calls with a baby in my lap, dividing up things with my husband so we could be a team and I could get my work done)
❌Stick with a service I didn’t enjoy.. even though there seemed to be a big demand for it (I started as a social media manager and I hated it)
❌Get a website right away.. I had my business for about 1.5 years before I had a professional website
❌Use social media to get clients (I only started my social media for my biz once I had a digital course to sell)
❌Utilize childcare for I could work more, I started my business so I could focus on being a mom, and I didn’t want to lose sight of why I started my business to begin with
