I got out of bed at 3AM on my birthday to answer a call from AirBnB and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I gave up one career that left me feeling burnt out for one that was making me feel equally burnt out

... but minus the intrinsic rewards that teaching offered.

Six years ago I started my freelance business, and it truly felt like an answer to prayers. After having my first daughter, I took a leap of faith and quit my teaching job, and 8 months later started my freelance business.

I did what seemed like the most natural thing, and started as a virtual assistant. This seemed natural because as a former teacher, I had a lot of skills that made virtual assisting seem like a no-brainer.

I had heard the “riches are in the niches”, so about 6-8 weeks into my freelance career, I started to focus more on social media management.. But I also still had virtual assistant clients as well.

Fast forward a year into my freelance career, and I hated social media management.

I was so burnt out with liking posts, responding to comments, etc. and I still had these random VA clients, which also required me to work crazy hours and be “on call” as part of the customer service (no exaggeration, I would get calls at 3AM and was expected to answer them).

I also feel embarrassed to type that I actually was doing this… and getting paid ~$20/hr to do so. Yeah… I want to smack me, too.

I needed to keep working from home and freelancing, but I desperately needed a service that was a (MUCH) better fit.

When I first started my freelance business, I had heard that Pinterest Management was a “thing”. However, I had no idea how to go about learning this unique service, so I went that route that felt “safer”.

But now I was at a breaking point…

I needed a service that I actually enjoyed.

I needed to work when it was convenient for me (I was pregnant with baby #2 at this point).

I needed a service that was scalable. I couldn’t keep trading time for money; I needed flat package rates and premium services.

But was all of this truly possible with Pinterest Management? It almost seemed too good to be true.

Spoiler alert: it isn’t too good to be true!

This is what I learned once I got started as a Pinterest Manager…

0B

Ad revenue is projected to reach $3.73 billion (aka growing interest among businesses)

0%

of weekly users have made a purchase from Pinterest pins

0B

Pinterest averages over 1 billion monthly visits

0%

of searches are unbranded (users are looking for ideas, not big brands — a big opportunity for any business.)

0%

Pinterest sees a 23.2% year-over-year growth

Once I started exploring what Pinterest could do for business owners, I realized that it’s a

powerhouse

Once I started working with clients, I started helping business owners achieve over 2+ million monthly views, thousands of new website visitors, and some months over $15K+ revenue JUST from their Pinterest traffic…

This is why a business owner would want to use Pinterest and they often outsource the service because:

They don’t have time to manage their own account or

They don’t know how to market on Pinterest.

Truthfully, it took me a hot minute to build my Pinterest Management business. I didn’t hit my first 5-figure month until I was about 2+ years into the service. After years of working as a Pinterest Manager, I created my first digital course for business owners, and it was honestly a slog… it was hard to sell and I kept getting asked if it would be a good solution for Pinterest Managers, and it really wasn’t.

So I decided to hang the towel up on my Pinterest course for business owners, and create a Program specifically for Pinterest Managers…and so The Pinterest Manager Academy was born.

... who helps women start and scale their Pinterest Management business to five-figure months while working with babies in tow.

She combines her Pinterest expertise that she’s developed over multiple years of hands-on experience, plus countless case studies from raving clients, to help new Pinterest Managers scale their income on part-time hours, while working on a platform they love.

Before she started helping business owners scale their revenue on Pinterest and teaching women how to become Pinterest Managers, she was wrangling 29 kindergarten students (yes, 29.. You read that right) and ultimately becoming the kindergarten cop of her own home.

She has 4 little girls, and some days it brings her right back to the chaos of the classroom. Her years of teaching experience, and heart for education, makes her uniquely qualified to break down concepts, explain things simply, and help even the most novice become booked out Pinterest Managers (and experts).

She lives in Indiana with her husband and 4 girls, and is typically making plans for her family to get outdoors and spend time together.
